I always like orchestra-themed songs, and this is no exception.
I gotta say, the drum beats don't really match the beat, maybe using some more common drum beats will work.
I like the strings, and the electric guitar is a nice touch (Fl slayer, isn't it? Sounds really cheesy)

This song is good, I never really heard the original, but this is nice.
There seems to be something missing from this song though, I think its some pads. To my taste, some pads will help this song sound much better.
Nah, just a suggestion. Also, some variety of instruments will work too.
The chord progression is too common, you see, so you should try something more interesting with the bassline, instead of repeating two notes again.
Still, this is a great song, and shows what you can do with music. =)

I just find the kick drum needs to be punchier. The melody is also not really catchy, maybe adding a different melody will work.
The beginning sidechained synth sounds a bit too 8-bit-ish for this genre.

To be honest, such remixes are rather common, just like you stated.
The goal is to make yours sound different from the rest.
This version sounds a bit too generic. I don't know if you want to get the 8-bit effect, but this is honestly a bit too similar to many other versions I heard.
Even so, the music sounds a bit too repetitive, maybe you should experiment with using different synths.
