And this is coming from one who doesn't exactly like heavy metal...
I have nothing much to say about this song, except maybe that I like the electric guitar melody...

Despite the rather cheesy chord progression, I like this song. The instrument is weird, but somehow really nice to listen to.
Can't believe I haven't added you to my favourite artist list despite listening to your music before I joined newgrounds...

This is great!

This is great. Think I'll try and give this my full review.

Melodies/ Rhythm:
The melodies you put in this is pretty good. I like how the tunes sound so simple, soft and really soothing. Honestly, this song could have a bit more rhythm at the beginning, but it does get better towards the beginning. The (I think) harp ostinatio does give this some rhythm towards the end.

I love the rather unique chord progression. At least this is good, not like those common ones that are heavily overused.
The song does progress well, from a nice piano tune to more complicated bell melody. I just have to say, the beginning started out rather slow. The ending is also good, but it seems to end abruptly in a way.

I think the mixing is okay. I just think that the bells are a bit too loud. But most other instruments are mixed well, I don't hear much problems in this song.

Overall, this is great. I think I'm giving this a 10, its good.

Hmm..

8 bit? Seems like this is like any other 8 bit remix of this song.
This song seems to lack in the low end, I hear very little low mids and bass.
Still, this does seem to loop. Pretty nice touch there.

IT probably is alot like any other remix out there. You cannot differentiate 8-bit classic tunes much. The harmonies were made up by me as I don't actually know the harmonies in the song.

Like right out of a music box.

The music box-y instrument is a pretty nice touch for this, gives a more christmas-y feel.
I just feel that adding some other instruments to this will really help. The whole song is high pitched, so maybe adding some other instruments like a piano or some strings would help make this better without ruining the music box mood.
Also, it seems like the instrument is slightly messed up by the EQ. Seems like the lower pitched music box changes volume dramatically when it hits certain notes...
Still, pretty good. Simple and neat.

If you need to know exactly how that works... well first off I see your point with the multiple instruments... I don't want to lose the effect, but you gave me an idea of adding a progression sound to this and having piano then strings come in later. As for the amplification, that is due to the round that I have going on here.. Some notes in the beginning are the same at the end.. If the two notes start at the same time they amplify, while if one is half a beat behi, they cancel eachother out. That is why when making a round it is important to watch where and when the notes occur. I don't see the little amplification parts an issue, but if anything canceled that would be a big thing that needs to get fixed. Thanks for your review.

I love the beats in this. I think I've heard the original before, and I think this might even surpass it.

I usually find dubstep a bit irritating...
But somehow, the wubz managed to get me to listen to this song.
This is seriously a great cover of this classic song, I like the orchestral beginning too...
I like the beats too, it's weird because of the 3/4 time, but anyway, great job on this.
I think I'm going to download this and listen to it on my mp3 all day...

The 3/4 beat is a bit strange, its why I did the piece in 6/8 to try and give it a compound duple sound instead of a triple meter. Thanks for the great feedback, I love hearing good things =P

Yea...

Your music is really getting into me. I just love the catchy tunes you put into your songs.
Yet another great track from you, I just like this track.
Only thing is the stereo effects, I found them slightly annoying, the way sounds seem to circle around my head.
Anyway, I like this song too. Great song!

About the effect: im using headphones when i make the tracks so sometimes i forget to put it on stereo and have it on 5.1 or 7.1 wich im using otherwise

I can really see this in a video game or something. The synth melody is just catchy.
I think you should try and find a way to get this into a game. It sounds perfect.

I have to agree, the beats don't sound like beatboxing, but that doesn't even matter at all. The overall song is really good, I don't see why he has to put a zero.
I think some regular drum beats may work. o.o

i'm experimenting with just that but im having a hard time slowing down the drums without them sounding cracked or full of dust specs :P
