Huh?

I don't feel anything.
These sine wave frequencies are... totally opposite to what you said.
I'm not going to listen to this for the whole 8 minutes and 21 seconds of this "song"
Stick to the actual songs you can make. Kay?

Seriously. Don't post crap here.

Zovos responds:

Read the revised description. Also, if you give yourself some patience and open-mindedness towards the certain tonal harmonies of these frequencies, it will probably work better for you.

Pretty decent.

Yup. I know this is just an experiment with delay, but this has some potential to be made into a full song.
To be honest, in the last few seconds, the delay got a bit too annoying, and I couldn't even hear the melody at all. But the melody was enhanced a lot around halfway through the song by the delay, and it sounded nicer.
Moral: Don't overdo it.
And great discovery, btw.. Gonna try it soon.

Odews responds:

Thanks! I have had the idea to expand the song before, but I couldn't think of a way to do so. I'll definitely revisit it at some point and see if I can make it into something more complete.

Edit! I made a second version of it (or am in the process of making it), with bass and drums, seen http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/372204 there!

Beautiful...

This song is great. It isn't really my genre, but this... just made my heart melt.
The vocals are beautiful and the instruments really suit it so well.
Awesome job on this song!!!

To be honest, adding more effects to the vocals would make it sound better. But this song is already so great.

lanky21 responds:

Thanks for the comment Tehloy! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Urgh.....

This gave me the chills. Realllllly spooky.
There is little melody, but that is made up by the awesome pads that create a spooky atmosphere, and the sound effects.
Now, I'm gonna have nightmares tonight.
Great job!!

(now... I really gotta go pee now. Where's the bathroom?)

Slow paced?

This song is reallllly slow, kind of perfect if I'm just sitting there, lazing around, wanting to listen to some music that isn't that beat-y like the regular trance I listen to.
I like the beats you put into the music, it really gets going at 2:22.
I like the way the instruments slowly add on as the song progresses.
Maybe you can shorten it a bit, to my taste, but this is just perfect ambient music I can listen to.
Great job on this!! This song's great. Probably going onto my music album (and that means something already)
5/5, 9/10

And honestly, I don't detect any instrument errors. Maybe I just can't hear them.

AJUST responds:

Thanks, I'm going to make a shorter 'Party' version, that will have the best bits and none of the errors. PS: what I meant by errors was that the instrument I set up didn't work so it came out sounding different.

My shorter version will be out before November. I'll use Ausacity or something to chop it down to size =D

Trance?

The beginning kind of caught my ears, it sounded pretty good. But then the pads just went on.. got a bit boring and repetitive after a while.
Maybe putting some more interesting pads would help. Also, this doesn't really fit in the trance genre. It fits more of between ambient or DnB.
Overall, great try. This song is pretty decent. =)

TheElementalProdigy responds:

Sorry, My Mistake.
I Placed This Under Trance Because i Felt This Song Came From Within, In Retrospective You Are Correct This Is More Ambient DnB,
Thanks For Listening
And Thanks 2x For Reviewing

Great song!!

I'm not really a fan of dubstep, but this is just amazing.
I can see this gives an eerie feeling. But somehow, not really a halloween feeling.
I would like to see more songs like this from you in the future. It rocks!!\
Just gotta say, the electric guitars sounds a bit messy. And the howling sound was a bit unnecessary. But they do help add on to the song.

YouriX responds:

Well my friend i dont like Dubstep either but i sure do love his sister "DrumStep" :3

Yeah the electric guitar is actually a bass synth that i made but it sounds like a electric guitar when you play it on a higher octave. And i thaught it sounded pretty sweet so i left it.

And like you said the wolf sounds do help give the song a bit of variation.
Thanks for the review by the way :)

Truely friendship.

This song gives me the chills. It works perfectly, and has great potential.
The melodies you put are awesome, and the instruments are introduced in a good way. I like the instruments chosen.
I think its because of the chord progression. It sounds great (and suspiciously sounds like canon in D) But you've added life to this progression, and it rocks!

A couple of cripes though. It seems as though this song isn't mixed well. The instruments don't seem to be at their right volumes, and don't really match. Maybe you should go back and adjust them. Adding some effects like reverb would help.
Also, the piano sounds a bit cheesy. I don't like if one uses a simple piano soundfont or something for a piano solo. The cheesiness can be detected really easily. Go mike a real piano, record a digital one or just get a higher quality sound.

Now... Who bombed this? This doesn't deserve such a low score.
2.37 / 5.00 (+ 1.69)

Stargenx responds:

I made this one incredibly quickly while using my headphones, I should go back and mix it, yes.

Great song!!!

I think this fits into hardstyle trance? I really have no idea..
This is an amazing tune, I like this.. Nothing much to say. Maybe except that it gets repetitive after a while.
You should really finish this soon. Waiting for it to finish. =)

ps. Wait... wtf? 5.00 / 5.00 (- 0.0000040) This makes no sense.

EternalXIII responds:

lol, it happens every once and a while! I also get "unchanged" a lot. I'll update you when the song is finished. I should be getting a decent computer in October. October will be a good month! xD

Great!!!

I always like orchestra-themed songs, and this is no exception.
I gotta say, the drum beats don't really match the beat, maybe using some more common drum beats will work.
I like the strings, and the electric guitar is a nice touch (Fl slayer, isn't it? Sounds really cheesy)
Awesome song you have there. =)

ShadowWingz responds:

Thanks!

I'll see what I can do about the drums.

Learning musician and animator. Go check out my music!
